This week I want to fix it, i'll need some new O-rings and what not but Im looking for advice.
What do I need to dismantle to fix it?
Can it be done externally, from the outside, or must it be done internally, by pulling the entire gearbox off?
Anyone done this one before?
Cheers

Photos and work for my friend Diego
Your need replace two oil seal, number 17 and number 6 in the image

Extract the gearbox of the vehicle and remove cases number 1 and 30 (in the first image)
Observe the linear bearing ball, is very interesting…..
Clean all parts, and replace the oil seals, verify the integrity of the 9 and 21 boot
Thanks Diego.

I've been to my mechanic and gear box specialist. I had both of them scratching their heads. Where the seals are is dry, but theres oil further along.
Turns out that the previous owner of the car, or someone who serviced it, tried to top up the gearbox oil through the gear stick connection in the floor of the car (from the inside). Thats why theres oil present, but not from either the seals, from the selector box - where there shouldn't be oil, maybe a bit of grease, but no oil in this amount!
Solution: degrease it and spray it with a hose and monitor.
My initial thought was that the car is a bit young for gearbox seals and bearings to be failing. Only done 20000kms!
