Any glue from the stickers left when they are off call your local carpet cleaner and ask for a bit of POG, it takes the glue off lovelly without damaging the paint.

I always de-badge and remove stickers and I have found that while WD40 works for some glues it doesn't work too well on these applications.

Also, I got the hot air gun out one time and melted the damn paint!
