Hi I've used a hairdryer in the past, water from kettle sounds good idea also, I used a soft flexible card scraper, and any adhesive left was taken off with a little bit of petrol on a rag , then used a resin polish on the area after and it came up fine. ;)

Yes I have used a hairdryer too but to be honest, tried the hot water from a boiled kettle this morning and it ROCKS. The sticker came off like turning the page of the Sun, easy peasy. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have mastered a new skill today!! Love it.

I am adding thanks (to you all) as there is no thanks button.

Like it??? I love it.

Did I mention I wanted to keep the flames!! ;) ;)

what's the RAV ?

the wife had a 2.0lt W reg Reebok

but we sold it and got ......

2011 Grand Vitara 2.4 lt manual 3door

The GV is nice, but the Reebok was more Jimny like, but faster and comfy ... why did we ever get rid if it :(

That's a beauty.

It's an old 4.1 model. I was running it side by side with the Jimny but er, the Rav is winning.

Did yours have seats that could be raised; this didn't so out came the steel tubing again! Had endless Vitaras and didn't want another, love three door SUVs but they (Rav) were dropped around 2000. It is so well mannered on the road I don't know when I'll jump back into the Jimny.

Doesn't the Vitara look like the Ravs!!
