3" lift what's needed..? was created by 2014Nathan
Hello there! Apart from the obvious springs and shocks, what's need for a 3" lift..? Extended brake lines, correction bushes? What else? Any help couldn't find anything maybe I wasn't looking in the right places!

Look at the ORA 4 inch lift kit, everything you need is in there I believe other than rear shock relocation brackets.

ORA does not recommend using rear relocation brackets with their lift kits, because the shocks may bottom out and get damaged.

Also, these brackets are not really necessary. If you have an issue with the panhard rod rubbing the shocks. The shocks can easily be spaced out with a couple of washers.

But in general when lifting 3" and more. The bumpstops, front and rear needs to be made longer. Otherwise you still may damage the shocks and springs.

I thought it was the shocks hitting the springs.

My bad

That is also an issue with the ORA +4" kit. Both my front shocks have dents and scratches from the springs. Which is why I need to figure out what to do, when I get some better, more expensive shocks installed (Bilstein 5165) :)
