It must be the crank sensor, I been looking at new ones and they do look the same?? Just don't know why it still runs?? I'll let you guys know what happens tomorrow.

It is the crank sensor and I don't know why it still runs! I damaged my crank sensor and water got in the connections and it ran like poo till it dried. I then replaced it soon after.

Yeah, been looking on eBay and stuff just at the pics it must be, it's strange it still runs tho?? I'll let you know tomorrow if it starts in the morning lol prob won't now? Just hope it's a easy swap no agg, cheers for info tho, defo come out when yours is up and running and mine is lol

Still don't really know what it does?? The next morning started fine drove ok to work, I've got a new one in there now so no worrying anymore :laugh:

had on of the apprentices in work do that to our jimny last week whilst changing the altenator belt :laugh:

sorry to get in but i have a problem with the ref counter when it is cold for the first 15 to 30 min it goes mad can it be the crank sensor also
