To be honest a kinked panhard rod is about as good as the old Z drag link people used to make for SJs so i wont be doing that  the joints im thinking about work as does a rose joint but are much more durable and do NOT run metal on metal

I've got KAP adjustable and I've slid a bit of chopped down bike inner tube over the adjuster to keep it free of crap..

I have the ORA ones on a fully corrected 3" lift and they are rose jointed. It's my daily drive and I seriously hate them.
The hole in the rose joint is (necessarily) larger than the diameter of the bolt that holds them to the mount. This introduces play in the joint.
It clunks when cornering at the back, and it's manifested on the front as a clunking in the steering (the steering places a lateral force on the axle, trying to drag it back and forth each way).

Now this is interesting. I have KAP rods with Superpro bushes in that are nearly new with only on road use but when the steering wheel is wiggled with vigour some play can be seen at the axle end. The nut & bolt holding it on is done up rather tight on the crush tube in the bush so it's the bush that's got the play.
I've not paid attention to the angle it sits at but if it's constantly under strain it's not gonna be good for it.
Tell me what a currie joint is all about then chaps!
Dave, you are beginning to be quite a useful chap to have on the forum I tell you!
