I found with the KAP rods the end for the bush streched itself as the wall thickness did not seem enough, also because the bush was sitting at an angle where the axle is forwards of the chassis this kept the bush at an angle causing premature wear of the bush, the rods from Jimnybits with the offset kink keep the bush at a straight angle so taking more stress out of the bush. I think different amounts of lift and castor angles will all play a difference.

kirkynut wrote: Now this is interesting. I have KAP rods with Superpro bushes in that are nearly new with only on road use but when the steering wheel is wiggled with vigour some play can be seen at the axle end. The nut & bolt holding it on is done up rather tight on the crush tube in the bush so it's the bush that's got the play.

I've not paid attention to the angle it sits at but if it's constantly under strain it's not gonna be good for it.

Tell me what a currie joint is all about then chaps!

Dave, you are beginning to be quite a useful chap to have on the forum I tell you!

Ah right, like Simon uses in his X Arms on those pesky Landrovers! I make you right! If they can take the responsibility of locating half a Landrover axle they'll do a good job on a Zukes panhard rod.

Im working on it if happy with Adjustable one end then that will keep the price lower cant to be honest see the advantage and extra cost of adjustable both ends once fitted and set aint like you are going to want to adjust them on a weekly basis :S more to the point do you see where i am coming from with using theses type of joints ;)
