we have a 59 plate bog standard Jimny, you learn to avoid things like drain or manhole covers as they are a bit of a hard ride, also get blown about in high winds. I also use ours (wife's actually) as a shooting vehicle, the rifle case needs to poke through between the two front seats with rear seat behind driver's folded forward.

Lol, might shoot something thinking it's the handbrake.

I had an SJ that was just like you describe.

My 2013 jimny with 4" lift drives a lot nicer then any other 4wd I have owned( except for my GV) but they have been SJ suzuki's and 70series land cruisers. Jimnys are also a heap more comfy then a new 70 series cruiser which I use often for work cars.
