Well I got my engine in and the s/s exhaust on but now it seems to have developed a small electrical problem on the way back 
. Traced it back to the 15A ignition fuse which blew twice on the way home from Washington. Going to have a look today (in the rain ) to see if I can trace the fault.
Also my rear diff is now very poorly and making all sorts of unhappy noises.... But I have been looking forward to this trip for so long I am going to risk it (just not doing the really naughty stuff). No lockers or winch as I removed the compressor and winch battery/split charger for the fitment of the internal rollcage (which didn't happen because of delays over engine fitment problems).
The good news is that with the new engine and 6.5 crawler box I now have more power so should be able to keep up on the road assuming that is it doesn't breakdown...again :laugh:
