There seems to be a disagreement about if you need to change tyres. Not knowing what your new Jimny will have on, I can only make suggestions! I use standard Duellers, and this winter they have really been tested. Inches of very slippery clay based mud, soft flooded stubble, along with the usual ice and so on. I have not got stuck at all, but thats just me! Obvious thing is to use what it comes with and see how you go. On the hills round your way you may need something with bigger tread, but experience will tell you soon enough. I am sure you will enjoy your Jimny as they are very good off the tarmac!

It's got different tyres front and rear. It's got regular 'highway' tyres on the front and A/T's on the rear. I might just get another couple of A/T's for the front. At the minute though tread on all tyres is good so I'll see how it goes
