I tried using the limo tint - complete pain in the ar$e!!! Then i tried vinyl - popped down my local sign writers and got enough for both back windows and tried on the outside of the glass after cleaning the outside with white spirits etc as recommended on various websites - looked really good until the following morning when i drove to work - the wind soon worked under it and bubbled it  so i waited until i was visiting my mate down south and arranged to drop in where his missus works :P mendipsigns.co.uk/ the girls spent about half an hour on the truck and did a cracking job by applying it to the inside. They said the glass curves and thats why i had problems sticking it on the outside. Nearly 2 years later and it hasnt faded, cracked or bubbled :-) They even did the back window too.

Have a look at my album and you can see the home done effect and then in later pics the pro job - www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.444855...859.644941694&type=3

dont forget that when you cover or remove the rear windows in your Jimny, it does indeed turn it into a van, and here you'll need a permit to take stuff to the Refuse Tip
