Ime looking to turn my jimny into a van i want rid of the side windows dose anyoneno the cost to do this ? Or any links to threads about doing this had a look back threw the pages but cant find nowt will put some pics up soon of whats being done these next cuple of weeks ive deffo got the bug :blush:

Either take the exiting route and smash the windows out or use a stanley blade to cut the glue from the inside, once out use the glass or the hole it came out of as a template for whatever you want to put in there like Ply or ally sheet,
I have seen somebody paint the glass before :silly:

A recent thread with the green painted Jimny had vinyl applied to the glass then painted. Would be cheap to do.

I was thinking of limosine tint on both sides of the glass maybe a double layer then spray outside same as the jimny that shuld that sturdy it right up ?

Using window tint film is very fiddly and still won't give you a completely dark window. Vinyl is much easier to work with, will make it so that no one can look through it, can be applied to the outside of the window and will last for ages if its applied properly to clean glass. Plus you can get it in loads of different colours to suit your needs.
