I had 95 mph out of mine going down the A14 for about 25-30 miles! Mind you i wont be doing that again, i aged about 5 years and i have permanent finger prints in my steering wheel!!!!

Did a run with mine, a 1998 Jimny, 4 weeks ago to see how far i would get on a tankfull, made it to 428km (266 miles) until dead. So if tank is as stated per the specs, 40 litres then i got 9.34 Litres/ 100Kms (30.244 mpg), this was all urban driving, I would think with very, very conservative driving you could get some more.

In my "test" i found that when i put the 5 litres i was carrying for when the car died in the tank the fuel gauge came up and sat covering the Empty line, so you have about 1.1 gallons after the empty line, hopefully enough to get you to a petrol station.
