Has any one come across the above i went to change the half shaft oil seal simple job well so i thought when i removed the compleat hub the lower bearing fell out to be exspected as it at the bottom then started the dirty proses of cleaning it out and all the parts and then i found this :ohmy: 
Has any one seen this before the bearing race broke up and the center of the beaing has broken also the bearing cage damaged

Yes had similar looking bits drop out before. Also had the bearing seize onto the kingpin. Proper sod to get out.
