I see my jimny as a useful, cheap, small 4x4 that does what it says on the tin, But just have a look on the Autotrader site at what you can get for £13000 to £14000 .... ;)

Replied by adamatdraycott on topic Suzuki Jimny 1.3 SZ4 ExSuzukiGB Brochure Vehicle!
Saw this on autotrader a week or so ago.

I've looked into the new jimny. Seriously not worth the extra cash, for exactly the same car as what we all have sat on the drive!

For 14k you can have a clean 2010 LR 90! Maybe not a statio wagon, but the van backs are almost as practical.

I run a 3.0l crewcab hi lux & a 3.0l iveco 5.5t crewcab tipper both company motors both taking £110 + a week to fuel up both 25k plus to buy even at the price of the jimny @ 13k still a cheap motor to run but would prefer not to spend that amount on a imny :)

Its practicly brand new and has every optional extra on it so if you were in the market for a NEW jimny id say its not a bad buy , just look at the price of a stock 2012/13 jim

A few years back people were picking up new jimnys for 7-8K!

No way I could justify 14K on a new one, better to give it a few years when its lost the bulk of its value
