I take this little wooden trailer everywhere. It only weighs 42kgs and the Jimny tows it a treat. I've taken it on 6,300 kilometre trip and all over South Australia and the Northern Territory. I don't put much in it, just a tent and bbq/cooking equipment and water etc, probably no more than 60 kgs including spare fuel. Sometimes I put an inflatable boat on top.

I have this trailer behind my Jimny when on holiday's. (France, Spain, Portugal).
Have no problems whit the weight of 750 kilogram's behind the Jimny, and yes... when i go up the mountain i have to shift a little bit more and downhill the trailer is braking toghether with the Jimny.
I also did go camping into the fields and had to drive trough tough terrain, it did handle well, took my time to prospect some aerea's on foot before driving trough with the Jimny and the trailer.
Trailer did cost 1300 € : 1150 € for the standard trailer and the change to the "braked axle" did cost me 150 € what i find personnaly "peanuts" for having a save drive!
Also with the "braked axle" the width between the wheels is bigger compared to the original axle and thus more stable.
You see also my camping gear that is put into the trailer and on top our 3 bicycles.
If you want to buy one for doing a long roadtrip, can i give you the advise to buy a trailer with automatic brakes !

This is my suzuki camping trailer. My 413's tow it no problems, hopefully my jimny will be fine as well
I built it so it will survive dirt roads and bush tracks
Has 2000kg rated axle with big gearings
10" electric drum brakes with cable handbrake
Offroad poly block type hitch
700/15 bias tyres on stock 413 rims
Etc etc
Still need to fit water tank, roof top tent etc.
