The red is very prone to fading however I've been told that as long as I wax is every few months it should stop the UV fade so only time will tell I guess!

I wash my Merc & Kangoo twice every year whether they need it or not.
The Jimny will probably get the same treatment when it's back on the road.

I'm at that age now that I don't want to risk dying whilst washing a vehicle outside.

Thanks! Single stage red paint is awesome to work on, very easy to bring the finish back. Haha I didnt think of that!! The jimny came with a bible in the back too, left that in there for luck!

Hee, Hee. I bought an old Mitsubishi off a priest and the CO has kept all the stuff that came with it. She's not at all impressed whenever I sing that old C&W song as we drive it up to the farm.

I keep mine clean. Polish it every few months and wash it at least every other weekend ;)

Not sure what polish you use but it doesn't look like it works too well - it's made your Jimny go all monotone!!!!!!

Quick blast at the petrol station after playing in the mud, then I wash it daily as it rains. All the battle scars tell a story and give the jimny character. Didn't even wash it for the photoshoot.
