Been kayaking about 12years and paddle all over uk but not done much this last couple years after a nasty swim on leck beck in lakes lol

Mostly the Allen, North tyne, the Ure, the Greta (lakes), border esk, devil's water etc tend to paddle in my own region most of the time! I know what you mean about the swim  I took a bad one on the Ure when stupidly running it in a playboat in full flood, got trashed in a stopper but luckily washed out eventually not nice! :(. Haven't been out for a year coz of my knackered shoulder but am aiming be hitting Tees Barrage for a while in the spring to get my mojo back :silly:

A friend of mine is in the middle of putting a hyabusa turbo into a spondon frame. Should be interesting to say the least:p

Sounds good to me :woohoo: I had thought about fitting one in my frame but it don't fit :(, also considered a GSXR 1000 lump but that would be a nightmare as well due to the angle of the head . I was looking for a replacement for my Gixer 1100 motor which was bored out to 1216cc, and fed by a set of Mikuni flatslides. But in the end I got a low milage Gixer 1100m lump. Not gonna mess with this one though, keeping it std for reliability :)
