Of course this is just my opinion but . . .
Why go to the hassle and expense of importing one getting it a uk mot registering it etc etc when you can pickk up an sj for next to nothing over here ?

Its not that much hassle tbh, the importer is a family friend and their uk garage does all the re-registering and MOT etc.
the main annoyance is time, to get that on the road it will probably take about 10 weeks, but it would probably take just as long to modify an SJ to the same standard so swings and roundabouts really.

I have to go with importing 1 idea most SJ are rotted to hell spend you life welding it up
