what to use to make rear quieter was created by nicho
can you stick sumet inbetween the rear arch and plastic interior bit to deaden a bit of noise i no you buy proper stuff but is there a cheap alternative.and if ther is were else can you put it.

The rear floor is simply a sheet of thin metal, so:
Makes a big difference.
The side panels could surely benefit from some of the same stuff, but didn't get to do it - hopefully this spring.
This is just medium soundproofing, mostly anti-vibration material. It stiffens the quarter panels considerably, though.
For wheel arches, there's a bitumen-based liquid compound which could be used. Unfortunately, the company making the above products (StandartPlast) stopped manufacturing it, so will have to source a different provider.

ta its just sumet that might improve the jimny a bit and sumet else to do to it. im sure it says sumet on the underseal with wax oil about painting inside for noise.not 100% n never heard it done.
