I walked it South to North, it appeared one group had driven it since the snow from that end, at that point in time. One.....? vehicle with AT,s had turned round when the going got tough on the down hill section just before the second river crossing. By the look of it two.....? other vehicles with MT,s with the same tread pattern as Smoggys had continued and made it all the way up to the open Moor where the snow was too deep and they had turned round. What I would say is whoever it was HAS SOME BALLS!!!!! :woohoo:

From what your saying there the 2 discoverys that were standard think one will have had at's and the other a heavily worn set of standard size muds,my mates fourtrak (lad who was with me last outing) runs 31" special tracks same pattern as smogs,me other mate with the sj runs a mud tyre with dimond pattern.

I've nearly completed the run and will have it on the site tomorrow with start and finish points. Doctor's gate is one of the lanes. Hopefully it will be more clear by Sunday. I haven't done most of these lanes before so there may be a lot of tarmacked lanes? I'm afraid this one will be a bit of a learning process for all of us

sounds good mike ,my friends who were up that way on sunday said it was quite deep, the 2 discos turned around at one point, the fourtrak had a go at getting up a steep bit with snow and failed, another friend with an sj got up first time but went back with them for obvious reasons.fingers crossed it should be more clear by the weekend.
