Mine has 67000 on the clock, but a check of the online MOT history reveals that it was clocking 20,000 a year and went from 106,000 to 57,000 the MOT before I got it

So it has done somewhere between 116,000 at the minimum and 136,000 if it did 20,000 in its last year and followed the trend.

Still going though, and I do believe that one of the wheelnuts is still the original, pretty much everything else has worn out at least once and been changed ;) (Rather like Trigger's broom)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

LOL nice to see the clocking boys are still about i got 112k on my Blue one but engine sweet no black death at all due to regular oil changes i guess and 102K on my red one again that engine was sweet biggest problem is poor maintenace dirty oil short trips just seems to spell death to G&M series engines

Had new oil, plugs and filters recently so hoping I can nurse her on to do many more miles without issue. I think the head gasket is the usual weakness on these isn't it?

Went to the only scrapyard up here today & they only Jimny that was there was a soft top that had front damage. There was nothing left on it that was usable! I wasn't surprised living somewhere you cant go out without see a jimny...

474,000 kilometres, had since new 12 years ago. Replaced heater core, cam-angle sensor, radiator cap. Timing-belt every 100,000 k's. Fitted high-flow exhaust with 100CPSI cat. Replaced rear axle housing/axles last year when it broke in two. I keep the oil clean and the underneath of the car spotless so no rust, no hassles, no wobbles. The Jimny will run forever by the feel of it. Only thing looking a little shabby is the paintwork on bonnet. Quick fix for that is to spray it matt black. Planning to spray the Jimny "Suzuki Swift Yellow" later on this year, always loved that deep dark yellow colour.

Starter motor has just started to play up so will investigate replacing the starter solenoid in the next month.

Just goes to show if well looked after things will last. The only trouble with the UK is the cold and damp which causes its own problems (rust being one of them :-( )
