I used undersell with added waxoyl and painted with a brush... I plan to rattle can hard to get to places in the future
Main places o focus on... Behind the headlights, and between the chassis and the rear seatbelt mounts...
The rear tray rusts by design... And won't be stopped. I'm planning to pump waxoyl in the cavity between the 2 skins.

luckily i have only got a small bit of rust in boot so i was thinking off whipping back seats out treating it n painting it all with hamerrite spray paint.then treat the bit underneath were the tool bit is as ther is a few scabs there n spray the lot with waxoil or sumet similar .think im quite lucky as its done 140000 mile ( 03 plate ) but full zuki survice up to about 100000 ( doctor owner from new ) would like to know how much that cost them.

They rust from the outside in... So I wouldn't worry about painting inside
The tray rusts as it is twin skin... With 'breather holes' which get hammered with spray when driving in the wet. The water drives into the breather holes and sits there... Water also get trapped by any mud in the breather holes. The inner skin then rusts
The seat belt mounts rust as they are plates badly welded to the underside of the floor... Water gets driven in to any gaps rusting the floor
Worringly new Jimnys are the same, so will also rust unless protected
