the 8274 will probably end up at well over £500 when the auction finishes and then you'll need a rope or cable and then fix the freespool etc but would still be half the price of a new one

the goldfish is £350 starting bid without a cable or rope this will cost £50 for a wire and a new goldfish is only £450 so why buy used to save £50

Right about the TDS :-)

But at £500 the 8274 would still be a nice price.

I had one of the goodwinch ones on the sj and it was bloody brilliant but i wouldnt pay that for a 2nd hand one

Beware of 2nd had 8274 i bought 1 on ebay got it home and took covers off looked like a bomb had gone off inside it motor was in a thousand bits and gears where all smashed bloke took it back and gave me a refund but never again once bitten for me
