Thanks for the diagrams and help cant get it wrong now :whistle: although whats the bad thing about scothlocks I have never used them so just wondered lol

They have a tendency of not cutting the insulation and or intermittent contact , best to solder and tape the joints

Before I got the Jimny I had a 1984 Landy and the whole wiring loom was held together with Scotchlocks and electrical tape! I had to re solder most bits as lights and dials were failing all the time. After that the Jimny feels like hi-tec luxury

Or solder then heat shrink.... then tape over this if you really want to be thorough
