Sanded off scabby surface rust off the passenger side sill joint and painted. Plan on working my around the whole car over the coming weeks to clear any early signs of rust.

no 12 inch they are about a bit hard to come by cant rememeber were i got mine machine mart do the blades tho think they mite do 12 inch grinders to, its electric to i do have a petrol one but got this as with my door shut petrol one stinks the workshop out, was a bit of a worry useing it but i have a steady hand im supriced how easy it was to get a good cut only used about a inch of the blade

I have a sthil cut off saw just never seen an electric cutter with a 300 mil disc fitted with a guard that is

300mm's are about but not commonly used and I couldn't think of any reason why it would be better than pair of tin snips or a 125mm grinder with 1mm disc.

i had no disks for any of my other grinders at the time and got carryed away with the wheels and plastics off and needed the jim of the ramp, i did get a funny worryed look from my friend as if to say no you cant do that but it was to late turned out ok the paln was a jigsaw but that was hopless i would recomend to any one to ditch the jigsaw and use the biggest grinder they could find

Fair play rather you than me I bet there was some nervous blokes about over the life expectancy of the disc :ohmy: . For people doing the plastics though I found a pair of curved tin snips amazing goes through the plastic like butter!

Fitted bucket seats tonight (cheers Giraffe!). As long as my arse does not get any bigger they will remain very comfy indeed :)
