Mr Bubbles in Birkenhead (around corner from me) is where I take both my cars (Jimny and z4) and they pressure wash, shampoo, shamy dry, blacken wheels and clean outside windows, and you get a free smelly-thing ... all for a FIVER!!!

And this is how it should look :-
By the looks of it Solar Window Film is not the best material for what you intended. I used the Sun Visor Strip which is a soft plastic film from Halfords, about £6 but about a £1 cheaper on Ebay. I will not bore you with the details of how to fit it although I must admit I don't have four thumbs and a finger on each hand!

that's what I had in my mind when I tried it :pinch:
well done looks good
must admit a "soft plastic film" sounds better able to do the job
plan at some stage to get my rear windows tinted so will wait and get a visor striop at the same time
