Norway 2005 Jimny M16A VVT, 235 BFG MT, 2" Trailmaster, ARB rear lck, 17%/87% high/low gears.

Welded up a hole in the floor.
Also got ready to put another piece in a bracket but then the power went out in my lamp luckily so called it a day.
Still a few more to do before the MOT.

Got the next piece welded in but, then the power went out on my angle grinder. Did not bother to take the wired ones cause it was late again.
Not decided what to treat the brown parts with and the insides of the brackets.
Most likely lin seed oil and or owatrol oil, then some thicker stuff. Visible and exposed parts will get some paint with rust converter in two coats before several coatings of paint and then underseal. Hoping it will stick.

Well I took my 6yr old jimny in for its 6th Yr service to the dealer and thanked me with an £811.00 bill
