Thanks to Halford's review about those "on-board E-Prance" camera's, i did ordered 2 of them at Amazon.uk.
Both with a 32 GB card.
One for our road car and the other for the Jimny.
The suction-thingy isn't great (as Halford mensioned) but i will fabricate a support in Aluminium and fix the camera onto that.
Good image quality.
They look (and are) cheap so i don't think they will be stolen over here !
Thanks Halford... for helping me spending my money...

Been told that Santa is bringing me something similar too but it doesn't need the screen mount.
Apparently it is a bit like this one.

Changed the rear diff and the rigid brake pipes over yesterday and today.
It was a bit of a test of the old stamina of the head as I'm coming back to normal from the Stroke but I think I coped well and will be ready for work again early in the new year.
Having said that, when you have a long period of time off work, you learn very quickly to fill your time rather than sit on your arse, so work will kind of get in the way now!
Never mind, it pays for me to have a Jimny!

Did my headgasket.... success (I think)
while the radiator was off I took the liberty to lower the weight od Santa's sligh by about 25kg and the front end of the 'tart-cart' is now heavier by about the same amount... the rope - its coming by sleigh I'm told
Just got to wire up the solenoid and then the front/rear remote system and I'm done...

I managed my first full day on the Jimny today, and so got a few jobs done from my list...
Fitted a BigJimny basic breather kit.
Changed the diff oils and checked the gearbox and transfer box.
Replaced the alternator and power steering belts.
Fitted my CB including a huge Orange aerial that my friend gave me.
And finally I removed most of the tow bar as the removable part has been wedged in since I bought it. Hopefully I can find a fixed bracket and ball to replace it!
Phew, tired now!
