Yes I have gone all soft!
It is what the Jimny is for being good on tax (pre 2001) and so on. Sometimes you can lay up the insurance too.

Well the long shaft killed its cv joint the hub was full of mud water some grease and lots of metal
The short shaft had a seized cv joint and where the shaft seal sits wrecked the shaft and the metal ring on the rear of the hub was in 3 bits and the lower pin was seized solid took me half an hour to get the pin out

TBH I wish my jimny was a 2001 model not a 52 plate 2003 model :evil: The insurance is so cheap on my jimny that I just always just let it re-new itself

Handy as the Jimny is only a weekend toy and not my daily driver.
It will more likely just sit on my drive unused this month but as soon as I want to use it I will just tax it :lol:
