Having just bought my jimny recently from someone who obviously spilt something on the back I've done the following mainly in the last few days:
Stripped out rear seats / trim panels.
Cleaned floor of ?? And rust.
Painted floor and where the jack sits in hamerite.
Cleaned rear seats and all the rear interior trim.
Re-fitted everything.
Fitted my new black steel wheels and general grabber AT tyres.
Fitted a witter towbar purely for using a bike rack.

Still to do, strip the front interior of seats, clean carpet and all the trim panels and stick it back again.
Basically been a busy few days and more to come.
Then it's on to planning a stereo install of some description.

If it smells from where they've spilt something you need a wet & dry vacuum cleaner and some good shampoo really. Ignore me if that's what you've done.
