So what should you be expecting to read about in the all new TOR?
We've known for some time that the new title and content of Total 4x4 wasn't working for you. Our aim is to bring TOR right back to its roots as the off-roaders choice. And as the new publishers, we’ve done extensive market research among UK off-roaders to find out what you're all after. This is what we discovered you'd most like to see:
• More profiles on every kind of modified vehicle, especially everyday off-roaders, as well as military and classic 4x4s and expedition trucks
• More on green laning, with added news, features and campaigning work as well as our famous roadbooks
• More workshop stories, covering modification, restoration and maintenance as well as general technical topics
• An extended Products section including equipment tests and reviews
And that's exactly what you'll be discovering on our first issue's pages on 18th January. But we're by no means finished moulding the magazine. Over the coming months we'll be asking you for your valued opinions on all sorts of relevant topics, so stay tuned. And be a part of the TOR community by continuing to keep us posted on what interests you within the off-roading scene...
When you've finished reading the great article on Gary's awesome Jimny on page 38 of this month's Total 4x4 have. Flick to page 20 where I have written some words and taken some photos about a challenge series near to me.
Hopefully we can get more Jimjams in the new Total Offroad in the next few years then! Seeing them in print with a well written article is much better than on the interweb I think!
