Hello from Mattzuki was created by Mattzuki
Hi All,
Some of you might know me from Difflock, and now that Bertie (the SJ) has bit the bullet I've just agreed the deal on a Jimny - so it's a big 'Hello'.
I'll collect the vehicle early next week, and then the fun begins. No doubt I'll have loads of questions, hopefully mostly answered in the Forums, but I'm sure to be back with the odd one or two.
Looking forward to a whole new world....
Cheers,
Mattzuki

So, I'm now the proud owner of an '03 Jimny, and my what a difference to the old SJ! I drove it back to Kent from Nottingham in the wind & rain last night. So much better on the road, much quieter - and you can hear the radio properly!
I've calculated the mileage and it looks like I was getting 28mpg - is that about right? It was doing 3250rpm at 60mph, when my old SJ does it at 2800rpm, again - is that right for a Jimny? It seemed a bit high to me. Perhaps this is the reason people fit the SJ transfer box?
Anyway, very happy to be part of the club and I'm looking forward to transfering bits & pieces from the Sj to make the Jimny 'mine'.
Cheers,
Matt/Mattzuki
