Be interesting to see what people's experience is.
Has anyone had the bonnet under and driven out? At what point does it start to float? When do you get wet?

And when your a$$ starts to get wet depends on how water proof the body is. If you have good seals in the doors, and all the holes are plugged in the floor and firewall etc, you might not get wet at all. Unless you start getting water in through the air vents, but then you would have to be windshield deep which might happen because the truck gets front heavy in the water...
There are a few good videos on youtube to give you an idea.

Conversely had a all singing disco 1 with a snorkel underbody protection the lot. Water from a very small puddle sucked in through a split in a hose near the turbo. Result- knackered.
Lesson- Snorkel or not check hoses!
Also all the fleet disco 4's at work have snorkels but they're not connected! Having said that LR wading depth is only the top of the wheel with snorkel or without, presumably to protect the many ecu's etc
