I loved the Trepadors on my Pajero Pinin they were magic off road. The only downside is they are a relatively soft compound so didn't last too long doing mainly highway driving.

Thanks for all of the advice. I think I'm going to go for the 753 Bravos, as I intend to use them mainly for greenlaning and in the snow if we get any. Also, I think they look good on both dirtydogz and thorpee's Jimnys. And as they are a little cheaper I can justify buting some black steel modulars to go with them
Thanks again

Yeah there a nice looking tyre especially with the white text on them and the aggressive tread. I catch people all the time checking out my car. Just bear in mind they are quiet noisy. If I had the choice again I would go a more A/T tyre. I have done some extensive sound deadening in the cab which has made it more comfortable for driving at 60-80km speeds but at 100-110km there is still a loud drone. I'm about to lift the car 2 inch's which I'm hoping it will lower the noise a little bit more - Can you confirm this Dirtydogz?

Thorpee yes the 2" lift has helped lower the noise level a little bit. but I've got used to noise after 2 years drive my soft top every day so you just have too put up with the noise or just turn up the cd.

Hi there. I'm also new to Jimny ownership and planning a tyre change. I want a good all round tyre with reasonable grip on road, green laning and in the snow (if and when we get some!).
I have searched, but have come up with no replies. Has anyone tried the Maxxis 771 at all and if so, how does it compare to the new style Grabber AT?
Cheers.

For me, AT means it's equally crappy on all terrain. Just get some basic MT's, because they aren't really aggressive hardcore offroad tires(like super swampers and such), so they are relatively quiet on road, and much much better off road than AT's, and they even look better under your truck! And if someone says to me that MT's are crappy in the snow, I would call BS on that one, because I have driven through the past seven winters with different MT's here in Finland(and trust me, we really have snow and ice here!)!elgringo wrote: Hi there.
