Think I will give it a go, can always sell it on once its MOT'd if its no good.
I dont expect it to be as good offroad as the Jimny was but it will be better on the road.

I had one for a couple of years, 2" lift, custom rear shocks, 29" Maaxis Trepadors Custom snorkel sliders & underbody protection. Punted it many places it shouldnt have gone following a friend in a Toyota Landcruiser ( I swear it had little car syndrome  ). It had more space & better driving position than the Jimny (in my opinion)
Still on highway tyres

Where did you get your lift kit from?
Went to see it last night and its far too low.

Springs were Dobinson. I think about 35-40mm lift. Front struts must be KYB - the spring plate is mounted ~20mm higher which gives room for larger tyres. rear shocks were custom Tough Dogs with longer droop.
