i have litterally just been on the phone to to silverline, i have 235/65/15 which i think is the same as a 30" tyre and they said to go for 8" modulars with a ET0 off set so it will be 4" either side of the rim mounting point dead centre. i am now slightly concerned whether i should go for these with the above comments should i maybe go for a 7" rim instead ? any recommended places for 7"? silverline said they dont stock them

Ive got 30x9.5 r15 on 8x15 modulars and everything seems fine. Try direct tyres thats where i got my wheels and tyres from or it might be tyres direct.

Also if the wheel is too wide it increases the chance of popping the tire bead off the wheel when running on low pressures, unless you have beadlocks.

I would say the tires should be at least 2.5" wider than the wheels.
