Should almost be enough for anyone to reconsider it. Not to mention the centre of gravity increases significantly by having ~50kg on your roof. I'm also pretty sure the Jimny roof load limit is around 50kg (Ive read 30-70kg is max) so you would have to up the support significantly for 1 person to sleep up there let alone 2.

I'm almost certain people have done it without issue but I wouldn't personally.

The pop-up tent is perfect for rainy days as it sets itself in 2-3 seconds and that was why I discontinued using a swag.

Driveaway tailgate awning?

Chuck an inner tent in for sleeping and during the day enough room to sit in and get out of the weather. Then you can zip up an go galavanting.

Haha, It may do if you have a degree in physics. Went to A Saab meeting a few years ago. This bloke turned up with a pop up. He was in his tent sleeping while the rest of us were putting out tents up. Come the morning we had our revenge. I think you had to circle the pole 3 times. He could only do it twice. Think he finished up strapping it to the roof. What a laugh we had.

This would be ideal. Pity I can't afford it.
