I see that here everybody is mentioning only the modifications in T-case in order to lower down your gear ratio. As I know is it possible to use also modification in axles by means of new pinion shaft and new crown ring. Did anybody use this method to lower down the gear ratio and to reduce the stresses on rear and front axles.
Please look here, what I mean: www.calmini4x4.de/538-1-Ring-Pinion-Kit_1

and in 5.1:1 ratio. I have my cousin using them in his jimny. It is not a very good option because you will
always have to open-close your diff avery time you want to make an adjustment etc.
If you are doing a lot of miles it is not recomended.
If you have the non vvt model then you can install the vvt model diffs. This will give you a -12% reduction.
We have a friends jimny mod2002 with vvt2007 diffs and runs 235-75-15 without any other transmision
mod. The price of the vvt r&p is about 250euros per diff from a scrupyard and for the 4x4art diffs is 350e
per diff.
The costs are the same by choosing one or other but you will have more benefits by installing a sami
t-case with gears.

Thank you Panosd
Now I know the right way to update my Jimny. I will do it with rock-lobster or even rock-crawler.
It will be more expansive but as you said the benefits are bigger.
Cheers
