Yup, jigsaw is fine, just take it nice and easy so it doesn't chip the gel coat on the up stroke...
I then corrected my slight wanders using a sander... chuffed with the result
I like the idea of re-using the bit I cut out (so that the back door opens)... the spacers are there ready off the Mark 2 soft-top fittings to hold it in the right place too...?

Sneaked out of the shop again this morning :blush: :silly:
Tinted perspex window bolted in place on a bead of mastic...
Just needs a nice neat bead of mastic running around the edge... but... I thought I'd leave that to the experts... so I texted a couple of mates who are joiners and asked them to pop in on the way home... there is a bit of an art to getting it right...!

I'd have put a bead of mastic between the perspex and the cover to ensure a water tight seal and then the one on the outside is just for appearances.
