Thanks Nathan
Well, today, having spent the weekend with the rest of our little group in the Lake District greenlaning, I was keen to get back to work and get the Jimny ready for a return to the Lakes for a one-day-trip on the 20th of July, so I cracked on on my "day" off (10am -3pm)...
I started by trimming the ORA-made hoop to size -
Now a perfect fit... I hope to weld it up on Sunday and then pass it to my powdercoaters to do it in black next week...
I then bolted the winch to the bumper and respooled the synthetic rope back on -
Before fitting the winch bumper back onto the Jimny, proplerly fixed in place now -
And looking awesome! (especially with the new' plate!)
I then fitted a JimnyBits ABS-suitable second battery tray -
And an Odyssey PC1200 battery supplied by the ORA -
Just need to finish the T-Max (JimnyBits) split charge system and winch wiring / isolator switches / remote in-cab remotes, and then move back onto the rockcrawler box.... more soon!
