Perfect for me would be a Ford Escalade, F100 or Bronco; Mitsubishi Outlander and suchlike. I don't see a Wagon R being anything like my sort of vehicle which is why I thought you were being somewhat facetious to put it nicely.

You said you wanted a car with a high seating position, not necessarily 4wd and mentioned a Qashqai being out of budget. I guessed from the fact you own a Pajero Junior and preiously had a Jimny you're not someone who is too hung up about image. If the answer you were looking for was Ford Bronco then it would be helpful if you put it in the question.
