Wow what a thing. It's a revelation the difference an extra 50 horses and 100 torques makes to getting down the road compared to the 90, just need to get the big trailer on it and give it a proper go. Awesome.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there
It's the 100 torques that make the difference.
I had a couple of series Land rovers both 2 1/4 petrol, and when I got the 200tdi 110, I was amazed at how little effort it made at pulling compared to the petrol at low speed.
I had this idea that diesels were like proper Cummins engines, where they only ran between about 500-1500rpm, not little baby things that you have to rev like a moped to get anywhere.
My old Cherokee was great for driving and towing, just the body fell apart and rotted even quicker than the Land rovers did- but the chassis and running gear were better, you could actually get it out of 4wd high when moving!

Cool. Mine is a sport manual so can only tow between 2688 and 2800 depending on what you read and I have yet to get the big trailer on it but so far it doesn't dissapoint.
