Love it

I did used to only get quicker motors and have to admit my Cherokee was fairly rapid and so was my Rav4 but essentially what you say is sound advice. I'm really bad when it comes to taking it easy.

I've got a kiddie on the way and want to get it out in the country side and interested in nature, so will look to go laning more often too. If it's a boy the mechanics will be nice to teach too.

Don't leave the girls outkirkynut wrote: I'm glad I've got a modified 4x4 in the garage and publicly considered selling it over the last year due to the lack of use it gets. However, it was great to have at Wales Rally GB and there are often minor floods around my way these days whereas there never used to be. When there are the Jimny comes into its own.

Now that is nice.
I guess even if I did give up fourbies I would still keep one as a backup to whatever (Smart car - NOT lol) . Keep in the shed or back garden. In the early days it was exactly what I did with the 4x4 I had - being put on the road in winter. These days the insurance wrangle and other paperwork (car tax) is prohibitive and is a disincentive which it has been for about 20 years.

I think I am getting my second wind; a reason to stay 4X4.
