Can you point to the specific post where the pictures went missing from?

I'd just use photobucket personally.

You get a bigger picture for all to see and it's there to use again without mucking about. Saves room on the server for bigjimny.com I'd imagine too.

I do when I need to Rob but it means I have to log on, upload them then snatch them to go on here and often I don't have the time or botheration so it is far simpler to load from a file as I type a post. Also I have had pics go missing from bucket in the past and when that happens the site I am on loses them too.
