How you getting on with this pod Gus??

Saturday...ripped out absolutely everything electrical, 12v, 240 mains...the lot!!!

Made the following horrendous discovery :

240v mains...wire leading from hook-up plug-in point direct to a 13 amp 3 pin socket, and on from there to a double 13amp 3 pin socket...no circuit breakers, fuse box or any other form of safety device :sick:

12v: heavy gauge +/- cable following same route as mains, terminating in the biggest pieces of chocolate block you ever saw....every 12v item on board wired straight from the other side of these, once again no fuse box or safety device of any kind :sick:

To be honest, Dan, I s**t a brick when I worked it all out.....so it was onto the computer late Sat night and bought 240v consumer unit, 12v 10-way fuse box, ground busbar, battery isolator, optimate trickle charger and a truck load of terminal tackle.
Provided it all arrives in time, should have it all re-wired by end of weekend.

Apart from that...it's all brilliant
