Pressure Washing

I got a Bosch AQT 37 odd something, long story shot, it stores itself well, folds down to half its size keeps the pressure hose and cable all within, came with a patio cleaner for cleaning up, after a clean up (the hovering type with a T bar inside that spins) and a 90 degree attachment for blasting under the car with ease. The standard end has 3 positions, spray, soap, and a swivelling spray, its like a ball bearing with an eccentric hole, as the jet comes out it rotates at uber high speed, ensuring you don't put to much pressure on one spot - love it, they now do a bigger version "AQT 40" odd.

The biggest issue, is it had no instructions, no explanation as to which attachment locks where on the body, no explanation of what each attachment is for (there is one that isnt in the pictorial assembly guide, or the approved accessories book - I have no idea what it does) - AND there is no handle on it, once you have folded the handle down to half height, all accessories in its various storage nooks, its heavy, and hard to grab as the handle wants to fold back up, and the body is smooth, no grabbing points. - also no idea from looking at the box, what it came with accessory wise, but the 37-13+ comes with patio cleaner and the 37-13 doesn't I think its the same for the 35-12 and 35-12+ - I'm not sure what else is part of the "plus" package (maybe the 90 degree head?) - total lack of any communication from Bosch via their website, and all resellers, it was a suck it and see purchase.

*edit of my edit, of my edit.... just been back on the bosch website, they now have full information, all accessories listed and explained, they've even given bits names - looking at the new leaflet it looks like the unknown bit is a Karcher adaptor

There are some interesting knock off's for sale on line for a fraction of that price, they look to be made from 25mm chocolate section.....

I clean the mud stuck up under the arches with a jet wash now and again and just rinse them down with the hose frequently to wash away the salty spray that's everywhere this time of year.

What about something small like THIS

I've had a few pressure washers over the years but ended up with Karcher. It is the make I would recommend. It has the spares availability and the accessories like a underbody lance. I got the possibly most powerful one cos you can always turn down the pressure. Essential for removing moss, paintwork and other trim. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
