Given the recent thread about other hobbies and everyone's diverse responses, I thought I would ask.

Is anyone here qualified to lead kayak training, I understand that you would have to hold a BCU Level 2 Instructor qualification.

It would be on the Isle of Wight on a weekday in the last week of July 2014 (you can choose the day of the week).

We can provide overnight accommodation and limited travelling expenses. You would have to prove your qualification and also hold a valid CRB check.

We currently have an instructor earmarked but he is beginning to give us signs that he will no longer be available and I have cadets booked into a training centre for a week already (The training centre provides the kit but has no staff). Amongst the other activities that we are qualified to lead there is a kayak facility which none of us hold a valid qualification for.
