Yep, we are cool calm and collected whilst we are in the machines. We'd get sent home if we were working out of the vehicles and it gets to 40 C.

I don't think you would want a Koala, or Drop Bear as we call them when asked by visitors, as a pet.

Here's one I spotted the other day on the road...

47 C at 2pm so the Boss sent us home. A few scrubfires on the horizons too, just another sunny day in Paradise.

Here is a pic from Yaapeet last night...

What with drop bears and ear wax spiders and all the other painful ways you lot have of dieing I'm surprised there's enough of you left to suffer from the heat!

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
R.E.D Retired Extremely Dangerous
Bellerophon (2024 grello van) daily dose of disappointment.

45C - too hot for me, that is. I've lived in Malaysia for quite some time - normally 40 maxed out there, and that's too hot - or should I say, too humid. Now in the Philippines and it's fairly breezy here so the humidity is more manageable. Hope you're enjoying the searing heat of Australia.
