Any Jimny owner bikers here?

yes i am a member on the ntv forum my brother is not yet he has not yet passed his bike test so currently not riding his one.

Good on you. The NTV is a fairly heavy bike for a learner rider so your brother will be ready for anything after the NTV. LOL

One of the despatch riders that I worked with had the earlier 600 Revere, he sold it on to another rider and last I heard it had 275000 miles on it, I'm sure I saw it again about 5 years later, it was certainly the fairing from it. If it was the same bike then it would probably have been over 500k.

Yes your story is about right for this breed of bike. The Revere/ NTV was very popular with despatch riders and getting hold of a low mileage clean bike is not easy.

The first owner of mine was a North Wales Vet/biker enthusiast who sometimes used it as a rapid response vehicle (not surprisingly his main working steed was a Jimny) unfortunately I think after coming back from call outs he would leave the bike covered in cow sh-t and now she has pitting on the fork covers and alloy castings.

Around my part of the world Jimny's are popular with Vets and farmers alike (also Isuzu for towing). Our local Vet says if you can't get to the stock in a Jimny it's a tractor or start walking. LOL
